FREEDOM.  Lyrics: A.Norman : Music: J.Holmström/A.Norman

Have you heard about the man lost in the jungle

He wasn’t following the signs
Maybe he was following his instincts instead

Maybe he was following the light

Maybe the man up in the tower got scared and said:

Let’s wipe away his smile

with all the jokers in the parliaments
ruling in, ruling out and deny

And the presidents and the lobbyists, the bankers and the activists

and the hopeless romantics , we cry

Im not saying that I’m walking in a jungle

I’m not saying my life is a lie

I’m not saying that I’m missing the picture

I just wish I could understand why

Freedom - for the thought that we hate
Freedom - for the ones we defy

There are people in the streets , marching with peace signs,

Setting cars on fire
The leftists are rioting, the rightwings are pillaging
And the hopeless romantics , we cry

Im not saying that I’m walking in a jungle

I’m not saying my life is a lie

I’m not saying that I’m missing the picture

I just wish I could understand why

Freedom - for the thought that we hate

Freedom - for the ones we defy

Peace & Love  Lyrics/Music: Anders Norman

well it’s time to go
where the people go
right by the end of the rainbow
coming down to the place in town where you chilling down
people up and dancing tight
there’s music in the air tonight
happy smiles, shiny eyes
saying let’s have some fun - alright
let me hear you say
You give your heart away
Let’s open up for more
Peace & Love peace & Love
can you feel it in the air
people love people love
love is everywhere

Freedom´s mine, it’s partytime
I celebrate the love in life
Coming down to the place in town where you re chillin’ down ́
People high and people low everybody enjoy the show
DJ, Band or troubadour Everybody get on that floor
let me hear you say
You give your heart away
Let’s open up for more
Peace & Love peace & Love
can you feel it in the air
people love people love
love is everywhere

I TRY Lyrics/Music: Anders Norman

I’m burned out baby
I have nothing left to give
Standing on the edge
Looking for a reason to live
I’m sorry baby
I know you don’t understand
I’ve got so much pain in my soul
It doesn’t make sense
The world is crazy
if you are a sensitive man
Yeah, They eat you up
And spit you out again
In my weakest moment
In my darkest time
I’m holding on
I try
Look at me baby
You see a happy man
I’ve got all that I need
And then some
But the battles within
They are never won
Raging in my soul
Like an avalanche
In my weakest moment
In my darkest time
I’m holding on
I try
The people you meet
You know nothing about
With their broken dreams
Behind the shiny facade
In the weakest moment
In the darkest time
You keep holding on
You try

A Long Way down Lyrics/Music: Anders Norman

I guess you had to be there
On the day when he was told
After 30 years of service
They said he was too old
So they offered him a watch
And showed him the door
And for once in his life
He couldn’t rise from the floor

It’s a long way down
For someone who always held on
Its a long way down
Fallin from grace in this town

She was far from sober

That night on the town
A little bit embarrassed
By the attention she had drawn
She was lost out at sea
And just about to drown
When he took her hand
And brought back on the ground

It’s a long way down
For someone who always held on
Its a long way down
Fallin from grace in this town

And the rumors are flying
like birds around town
But the people you meet
They stare to the ground
And it’s a long way down

Behind the song FREEDOM

I wanted to create a completely new style and sound than my previous releases. So I contacted my friend and producer Johan Holmström, who is a genious creator and send him a demo.

He removed my original music, kept the vocals, built the riff, and the music around my vocals.

We then brought in musicians to play each instrument and their task was: Have fun!

Lyrics:

It's a modern hippie-song about democracy, it's about freedom of speech.

It's a pretty big kick in the butt for the big tech companies.

Facebook, Instagram, YouTube etc. that ban people here and there and making their own laws.

First verse:

"Have you heard about the man lost in the jungle

He wasn’t following the signs"

"The man lost in the jungle" is an internet user, posting something that the "censor people" on facebook didn't like so they will "wipe away his smile".

The chorus

"Freedom for the thought that we hate"..an important message to respect others,

even if you don't agree with them.

Second verse:

"There are people in the streets marching with peace signs, setting cars on fire"

The left vs right, what happened to tolerance and respect?  Why?

Break

The parts with the drumbreak followed by solos are incredible.

We told the drummer: Do something creative and have fun.

He really nails it and the guitar solo and the saxophone along with the chorus..

You can't ignore, you can´t resist.

You just got to move your feet.

Musicians:

Frank "Frallan" Nilsson on drums.

Oliver Moe on bass

Andreas Ericsson on guitars

Peter Zimny on saxophone

Johan Holmström keyboards

Background vocals: Anders Norman/Johan Holmström

Lead vocals: Anders Norman

Behind the song PEACE & LOVE

This is also a track that I haven't done before. It's more pop than rock

but the banjo and mandolin gives it a touch of country.

No serious message other than enjoy life and have fun. Peace, Love and understanding.

I have relesed nearly 70 songs and I wanted to give my set-list more variety.

It's more fun for the audience, both live and at home. Certainly more fun for us.

Lyrics:

I friend of mine has a real cool club/restaurant. It's one of the hottest places in town

where people meet, eat, drink and dance. I have played there many times.

So this song is about that "friday-after work-feeling" in the sun, chilling and just loving life.

Great vibe in this place!

Musicians:

Frank "Frallan" Nilsson on drums.

Oliver Moe on bass

Erik Igelström on mandolin

Jens Koch on banjo

Andreas Ericsson on guitars

Peter Zimny on saxophone

Johan Holmström keyboards

Background vocals: Kit Flensted/Anders Norman/Johan Holmström

Lead vocals: Anders Norman

Behind the song I TRY

This is back to my roots. It's melancholic and it's a true story.

Lyrics:

2 years ago I met this guy, a successful, happy man with his own company and he's got a good life. We became close friend and recently he told me that he tried to kill him self,

just 3 months before we first met.

The song I TRY, is about the wall we put up on our face.

I have lost 3 close or pretty close friends in suicide in my life.

It's more common that we want to speak of.

The chorus

You never give up. You Try. You have to keep going.

Musicians:

Frank "Frallan" Nilsson on drums.

Oliver Moe on bass

Andreas Ericsson on guitars

Johan Holmström keyboards

Background vocals: Kit Flensted

Lead vocals: Anders Norman
